Outdoor Practice & Game Updates

The Panthers are moving practice outside; our next practice will be on Thursday, 4/1/10, from 6:30-8:30 PM, at our pre-season practice Field, Cofflinberry Field, Fairview Park. The field is located just 5 minutes east of the stadium off of Lorain Road, directions are under the Handouts Section.

Players on the offense should wear white jerseys, if you are on the defensive side of the ball please wear navy blue or black jerseys. Everyone should wear white practice pants. This will be like a normal practice-after stretching the defense & offense will be at opposite ends for Individual & Group Work. This will be followed by a team session. We will have limited contact drills for players in full-pads.

All players should wear "Full Gear" from now until May 1st unless instructed to do otherwise, even if your helmet is not painted yet, still wear it. Anyone who needs their helmet painted can give it to me Thursday after practice with $20 and I will take them to All-Sports (Han's), I will pick them up and bring them back to practice on Tuesday, 6 April 2010.

From now until 1 May 2010 we will practice on Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30-8:30 PM, and on Sunday from 10:00-Noon, except for Easter Sunday. ALL practices will start on time, to ensure that they end on time it is critical for everyone to arrive before they start~!! After May 1st we will be eliminating the Sunday practices and ONLY go on Tuesday/Thursday, please set your schedules so that you may attend all or as many as possible. The more practices you can attend the better you will know the offense and defense, and the more playing time you will get~!

The early forecast is for good weather this coming Thursday, however, please dress for the cold as it will get chilly once the sun starts setting. After practice please plan on going to CLEATS, our 5th quarter team sponsor, who will have a great burger & beer/pop special for Panthers players and coaches on Thursday, 4/2/10. This will also give us a chance to bond off the field, key to any successful team~!

The Panther Coaching Staff is looking forward to seeing our Panther Family back outside and going back to work~!! We are also extremely happy to announce the addition of Coach Marty Kazarecto our staff as Special Teams Coordinator~!! Coach Marty spent 8 seasons at Tiffin University in the same role; he has had great success in this position and the Panthers are very pleased to have someone of his statue on our staff~! He will be a great addition to the successful staff we have put together.

The PANTHERS are Extremely Happy to announce that we will be playing in the HFL Pre-Season Triple-Header at Grove City Christian High School, 4700 Hoover Rd, Grove City, OH~!! The Tournament features 3 games with an HFL opponent paired against another league's top teams; anyone attending the game to support the Panthers can stay for the Mid-Ohio Jets Vs the Cleveland Cobras game. The Panthers will be playing the Ohio Valley Warriors in a 4:00 PM Kickoff; please plan on attending and supporting your Panthers~!!

The Lake Erie Panthers are Very Excited to announce that CLEATS in Westlake. will be our 5th Quarter Sponsor and Hangout after all home games and scrimmages~!! CLEATS will be offering incredible specials for our players and anyone who brings a game ticket after our games! Once again, THANK YOU CLEATS for everything you are doing to help the PANTHERS~!!. All current players who have not signed their contracts and anyone who would like to become a member of our Panther Family, Cleveland's ONLY west side minor league FB team, should arrive between 6:00 & 6:15 PM to take care of all paper work.
