Practice this week, 4/19/10, is Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30-8:30 PM, at Coffinberry Field, 19020 Coffinberry Blvd., Fairview Park. Be on Time~!!
The key to performing your assignments well in the scrimmage is to have a GREAT week of practice~! Remember a scrimmage IS NOT about who scores the most TD's, it is about how you do your job and to evaluate the offensive & defensive schemes.
ALL players need to be dresed and on the field by 3:45 PM Sharp~! Dress for the weather. Remember, after the scrimmage we are going to our 5th Quarter Sponsor, CLEATS in Westlake, to relax and share our scrimmage experiences~! They will be offering a great burger & beer special for all players and fans~!
After the scrimmage the coaching staff will evaluate personnel and schemes, make adjustments as needed, then work to improve for the next contest in Grove City against the OV Warriors.

Panthers Practice
The Panthers next practice will be on Tuesday, 4/6/10, from 6:30-8:30 PM, at our pre-season practice Field, Coffinberry Field, 19020 Coffinberry Blvd., Fairview Park. The field is located just 5 minutes east of the stadium off of Lorain Road, directions are under the Handouts Section. We cannot use the stadium until track season is completed.
Players on the offense should wear white jerseys, if you are on the defensive side of the ball please wear navy blue or black jerseys. Everyone should wear white practice pants. This will be like a normal practice-after stretching the defense & offense will be at opposite ends for Individual & Group Work. This will be followed by a team session. We will have limited contact drills for players in full-pads.
All players should wear "Full Gear" from now until May 1st unless instructed to do otherwise, even if your helmet is not painted yet, still wear it. Anyone who needs their helmet painted can give it to me next Thursday after practice with $20 and I will take them to All-Sports (Han's), I will pick them up and bring them back to practice on Tuesday, 14 April 2010. Players who gave me their helmets last Thursday, I will have them at practice Tuesday, 4/6/10, for you.

ALL practices will start on time, to ensure that they end on time it is critical for everyone to arrive before they start~!! The more practices you can attend the better you will know the offense,defense, and special teams; this means that you will get more playing time~!
Even though the weather has been fabulous, please dress for the cold as it will get chilly once the sun starts setting. If we cancel do to weather conditions you will receive a phone call by 5:00 PM on the day of practice or sooner.
The Lake Erie Panther's are extremely happy to announce the addition of Coach Marty Kazarec to our staff as Special Teams Coordinator~!! Coach Marty spent 8 seasons at Tiffin University in the same role; he has had great success in this position and the Panthers are very pleased to have someone of his statue on our staff~! He will be a great addition to the successful staff we have put together.

The Tournament features 3 games with an HFL opponent paired against another league's top teams; anyone attending the game to support the Panthers can stay for the Mid-Ohio Jets Vs the Cleveland Cobras game. The Panthers will be playing the Ohio Valley Warriors in a 4:00 PM Kickoff; please plan on attending and supporting your Panthers~!!

Practice Tonight
Good Morning Panthers~!!
FYI: We will be practicing today, 3/27/10, from 7:30-9:30 PM, at our Indoor Practice Facility, Rival-Sports. In Indoor complex is just minutes north of I-90 on Route 58; the entrance is directly across from Applebee's. If you have full gear wear it; if not, wear what you have. Players on the offense should wear white jerseys, if you are on the defensive side of the ball please wear navy blue or black.
Anyone needing to pay for or the difference they owe on their uniform (Total=$75) should report between 6:30-7:00 PM; the locker room will be available as well if you need to pre-stretch. If you are going to pay on your uniform please let me know what # and size you need for both the jersey and pants ASAP~!

The early forecast is for good weather next Thursday, 1 April 2010, from 6:30-8:30PM. We will have printed directions to the pre-season practice field in Fairview ark at practice tonight. They will also be on the web page and on Twitter today by noon. We cannot use the game field for practice until late May due to high school track.
Looking forward to seeing our Panther Family Saturday and getting back on the field~!! After practice consider going to CLEATS in Westlake, our 5th quarter hangout, for a great beer and burger special. We need to come together on and off the field and this is a great way to do so~!

PANTHERS PRACTICE
The Panthers will practice indoors on Saturday, 3/27/10, 7:30 to 9:30 PM, at our indoor facility, Rival-Sports. The Indoor complex is located on Rt 58, just north of the I-90 exit ramp; the entrance is directly across from Applebee's Restaurant.
This practice is for all current Panther players and anyone who wouldl like to discover why there is a very positive "Buzz" surrounding the Panther team. Come and check out Minor League Football at it's best~!
